The problem
As you can imagine, Andrea was very worried when she came to our clinic. She was afraid to smile because of the problems with her front teeth: The large gap (diastema) between her central incisors. It was not just a cosmetic problem, it created speech issues and discomfort when eating. One of her central teeth had a crown with shape, colour and height problems, causing defects to the soft tissue. The angle of the central teeth meant she could not close her mouth properly. Andrea also wanted to improve the colour of her teeth.

The result
The first step was a gingivectomy to remove defects in the gum tissue caused by the badly formed crown. We closed the gaps between teeth (diastema) and created whiter, shinier teeth as well as correcting the protruding teeth to create perfectly aligned teeth. The results were achieved using porcelain veneers on the entire upper arch.
